History and Development

St. Mary’s Malankara Syrian Catholic Church, Nadutheri in the Major Archdiocese of Trivandrum belongs to the Ecclesiastical district of Kottarakkara.  The first community of this parish was formed in 1976. This Parish was established and blessed by Late Archbishop Benedict Mar Gregorios on 21^st August 1976. The new church was built and blessed on 5^th May 1978 by Late Archbishop Benedict Mar Gregorios. Rev. Fr. George Kuttiyil was the first vicar.   The church was renovated and blessed by His Beatitude Moran Mor Baselios Cardinal Cleemis in 2010.
