History and Development

St. Thomas Malankara Syrian Catholic Church, Paruthiyara in the Major Archdiocese of Trivandrum belongs to the Ecclesiastical district of Ayoor.  The first community of this parish was formed in 1969.This Parish was blessed by Late Archbishop Benedict Mar Gregorios. A new church was bulit and blessed by His Beatitude Moran Mor Baselios Cardinal Cleemis, Major Archbishop-Catholicos on 19 December 2019.
