History and Devolopment

St.Thomas Malankara Syrian Catholic Church, Attingal in the Major Archdiocese of Trivandrum belongs to the Ecclesiastical district of Kazhakoottam. The First community of this Parish was formed in 1995. This Parish was established in 1995 and was blessed by Late Lawrence Mar Ephream. Rev.Fr. Thomas Kuzhinapurathu was the first Vicar. A new church was built in 1996 and was blessed on 1997, August 21 by Late Archbishop Cyril Mar Baselios.
