History and Development

St.Joseph Malankara Syrian Catholic Church, Bhoodana colony in the Major Archdiocese of Trivandrum belongs to the Ecclesiastical district of Kazhakoottam. The First community of this Parish was formed in 1962 and blessed by Late Archbishop Benedict Mar Gregorios. This Parish was established in 1962. Rev.Fr. Mathew Kadakampallil was the first Vicar.
