History and Development

St. Joseph’s Malankara Syrian Catholic Church, Palode in the Major Archdiocese of Trivandrum belongs to the Ecclesiastical district of Kilimanoor.  The first community of this parish was formed in 1977.This Parish was established in 1991 during the time of Rev. Fr. John Thazhayil. It was blessed by Late Archbishop Benedict Mar Gregorios in 1992.
