History and Development

St. Thomas Malankara Syrian Catholic Church, Pappala in the Major Archdiocese of Trivandrum belongs to the Ecclesiastical district of Kilimanoor.  The first community of this parish was formed in 1968. It was blessed by Late Archbishop Benedict Mar Gregorios. The church was renovated in February 6, 2000 and blessed by Late Cyril Baselios Catholicos
