History and Development

St. Ignathios Malankara Syrian Catholic Church, Manchadimukku  in the Major Archdiocese of Trivandrum belongs to the Ecclesiastical district of  Adoor.  The first community of this parish was formed in 1962. This Parish was established in 1964 and was blessed by Late Archbishop Benedict Mar Gregorios.  Rev. Fr. Thomas Kaithanal was the first vicar.
