History and Development

St. Mary’s Malankara Syrian Catholic Church, Rosemala in the Major Archdiocese of Trivandrum belongs to the Ecclesiastical district of Punalur.  The first community of this parish was formed in 1988. This Parish was established on1989 during the time of Rev. Fr. Thomas Vattaparambil and was blessed by Late Archbishop Benedict Mar Gregorios.  In 2014 celebrated the Silver Jubilee.
