History and Development

St. Sebastian’s Malankara Syrian Catholic Church, Ozhukuparackal in the Major Archdiocese of Trivandrum belongs to the Ecclesiastical district of Ayoor.  The first community of this parish was formed in 1960.This Parish was established in 1965. It was blessed by Late Archbishop Benedict Mar Gregorios in 1967. The church was renovated during the time of Rev. Fr. Johnson Puthuvelil and blessed by His Beatitude Moran Mor Baselios Cardinal Cleemis on 2^nd November, 2014.
