History and Development

Little Flower Malankara Syrian Catholic Church, Ayiroopara in the Major Archdiocese of Trivandrum belongs to the Ecclesiastical district of Kazhakoottam. The First community of this Parish was formed in 1959. This Parish was established in 1959 and blessed by Late Archbishop Benedict Mar Gregorios. Most Rev. Lawrence Mar Ephraem was the First Vicar and new parish was blessed on 1964 by Late Archbishop Benedict Mar Gregorios.
