Synodal Commission for Ecumenism and Dialogue
The particular mission of the Syro-Malankara Catholic Church is to strive for the unity of all Christians, especially the unity of the Christian faithful of St. Thomas Christian tradition in India. The Synodal Commission for Ecumenism and Dialogue engages in ecumenical work through timely initiatives and activities.
It cooperates with the dialogue commissions of the Holy See and decree of the Second Vatican Council and instructions given by the Holy See are put into practice in the context of our Church.
It cooperates with organizations that foster Christian unity and promotes national and international seminars and research in the field of ecumenism.
